I see bad drivers every day, here are their pictures

Blocking two lanes

FailedDriving up a single lane road, which happens to be quite wide, knowing that (and well sign posted) at the intersection up ahead, it would split and you need to be in the left lane to turn left, and the right lane to turn right. Those of us waiting in the long line to turn left move over in the lane to the left, so people planning to turn right can get past and through the intersection. It’s very obvious and there are many signs indicating which lane will go which way.

Of course there are always people who just can’t wait. That’s fine, they can scoot into the slow moving long lane at the end. Except when they can’t. Blocking a whole lane of traffic for 5 minutes, getting honked at, then screaming out their window for people to shut up. Very funny for me to watch, as she was behind me, and was obviously not used to not getting her own way.

Last couple days not so bad

Yesterday I avoided the freeway altogether in the afternoon, as I heard on the radio while heading towards the freeway that there was an 8 car pileup! The accident(s) were going in the opposite direction, but of course that means that both directions are going to be hellish, people love to stare. I say they should just take a picture! lasts longer.

In the morning there has been a lot of congestion on the city street, which means that we end up waiting in the exit lane on the freeway (stopped) while the rest of the lanes whizz past. Obviously there are always the select few who believe this does not apply to them, and I watch them cause accidents! More times than I like I cringe as I see people slam on their brakes to avoid people who suddenly try and get into the lane not moving. That’s the thing see.. you can’t change into a lane unless the lane is moving, at least a little bit. Instead they stop traffic going at 65 miles an hour!

There were two people on this day that I saw almost cause accidents, but only one who was photogenic enough to post about!

Today’s bad driver (White Golf )

Can't wait like everyone else

I wonder what tomorrow will hold!

Final Straw…

Driving to work every day I see a lot of things. Mostly I see people doing a whole lot in their cars, but not too much driving. It’s true we’re barely moving, just letting off the brake pedal every few minutes to roll forward, but some people really take it too far!

This morning was the day I finally decided it was time to start letting out my daily irritations by sharing them with whoever experiences the same things. I’ve also taken a slightly vindictive approach by choosing to photograph the people who have put my life in danger. If anyone wishes to share a story, and any pictures, let me know and I’ll add your story and/or pictures!

The connector from the 101S to the 405S is a long slow drive. Many people don’t want to wait, so they don’t, they simply drive in the lane next to the connector lane, and wait until the last moment, then change lanes. Normally this doesn’t bother me, and on particularly bad days I’ve been known to do it myself. My problem is when the person changing into the connector lane chooses to do so as if I wasn’t there at all. Since we’re sitting there and not moving, getting out of the way of a car swerving towards you can be quite difficult. To top off a mild heart attack, they didn’t even consider it necessary to use the indicators. When I chose to honk my horn since he obviously couldn’t see I was right there, he flipped me off.

After a short chuckle to myself, I started taking pictures. Smile for the camera’s people! It’s your 15 minutes of fame!

Today’s offender (approx. 8.25am, 101S to 405S connector, Mazda Protege )

Bad Driver
